Each piece of Brigitta Barczi jewelry is handcrafted and requires delicate handling. Always protect your jewelry from knocks and scratches, moisture and chemicals. Salt water and water containing chlorine is especially harmful towards metal jewelry. To keep your jewelry in a good condition, take it off before going to bed, going to the beach or exercising, or before having a bath.
Between wearings store your jewelry in a clean and dry place, it is an ideal choice for this purpose the jewelry box in which you received your order. Try to keep pieces separate, that you can avoid the scratching and tangle.
If you follow these instructions, you can ensure your jewelry in good condition for a very long time.
I send to all of the ordered pieces a jewellery cleaning cloth, which will help you to keep the metal jewelry in good condition, and if you use it regulary, it can make your jewellery beautiful and shine.
ABOUT THE MATERIALS THAT I USE
Brass
The raw brass because of the moisture content of the air, will earlier tarnish, they will deepen and darken in colour, and will not look like the shiny piece that you originally purchase (but in fact, many people love the look of this patina). This change is easily reversible, you can make it shine again with the cleaning cloths.
925 sterling silver
Sterling silver is a very grateful metal. It is much less oxidized than brass, but will lose its original bright when used. If you care about it regularly with a special silver cleaning cloth, and you handling delicate, you will enjoy your silver jewelry for a very long time.
