The special shapes and textures of the Pangea mini collection – similar to the well-known pieces of Brigitta Barczi jewelry – evoke an ancient appearance. This time, they bear the traces of geohistoric times and remind us that nature is a force whose influence even can be felt over time. Pangea is a supercontinent that existed in the age of dinosaurs, which began to fragment and separate 180 million years ago as a result of plate tectonic movements, until today’s continents were formed.

The pieces of the collection, similar to the supercontinent Pangea, initially formed a whole before acquiring their current form. They are made using the lost wax loss casting technique, during which process the wax is shaped and molded by hand. During the meticulous work, the fingerprint remains in the wax mold, and in the final metal form as well. This technique results in a completely unique piece of jewelry that bears the mark of the creator’s hand.
